Behavior on and at approach to a traffic circle
Art. 47 and 48: Traffic square
- Drivers of motor vehicles and moped riders following the roadway are permitted to ride just before or in traffic squares other than on the right side of the roadway.
- Drivers are permitted to overtake on the right just before or at a traffic circle.
Drivers exiting a traffic square must give way to traffic, which continues to follow the square (e.g. turning passenger car, straight ahead moped rider). This may be arranged via signage the other way around.
How the right of way is arranged in the square is shown by the signs. Either the square has priority, or the access roads have priority. The signs will have to provide clarity.
