Tailgaters emerge as the biggest annoyance in traffic this year from the new edition of The National Motorist Survey by Eileen.This survey of Dutch motorists shows that half (48.9%) of motorists are moderately annoyed by this.
Notable in the survey is that, for the first time in eight years, traffic jams are no longer part of the Top 10 annoyances in traffic.
Annoyance number one
‘Tailgaters’ emerged as the number one annoyance in traffic this year (48.9%), followed by ‘Aggressive driving behavior’ (46.0%). ‘Aggressive driving behavior’ emerged as the number one annoyance among motorists just last year. ‘
‘Driving with alcohol and/or drugs on’ fills the third position with 40.8%. This is particularly annoying to women.’Thresholds’ are new to the Top 10 this year.
