Tractor theory course driving license T (+ theory exam)

With the tractor theory course you get 1 day of theory lessons followed by your tractor theory exam.

The theory course is held at our Woerdense Verlaat location, near Woerden.

The tractor theory course

You will receive classroom instruction from an experienced theory instructor.

The course lasts a day, and is quite intensive. In fact, tractor theory is almost as tough as truck theory.

The theory course covers:

• traffic rules
• vehicle technology: e.g. engine operation, environmental requirements for the tractor
• weights and measures: e.g. estimate what the load on your car weighs, determine up to what weight you can transport

After explaining the traffic rules, you immediately take a practice test on your phone. This is then reviewed in class.
In the afternoon, you will continue with vehicle technology and weights and measures.

You may take tractor theory exams from the age of 15.5. To take the practical exam, you must have already passed your theory.
From the age of 16 you may begin driving lessons for your license T and take practical tests.

Pick a date in the calendar below, and you'll have a spot in the tractor theory course. We will arrange for you to take your exam shortly after the course.

Study materials are not included in the course.

It is convenient to order it in advance:

• or: tractor theory book (without online practice)

Location: Woerdense Verlaat (theory course) and CBR, location to be determined in consultation (theory exam). You travel to the CBR yourself.
